The Goldsmiths Hall

The London Assay Office and Goldsmith's Hall occupy a Grade 1 Listed Building.  It is the home of the "Hallmark".  Here jewellers send their jewellery to be tested and certified to get the much sought after Hallmark. Excerpts from the film Evita, starring Madonna were filmed here because of the beautiful and opulent interiors.

Their emphasis was on personal service to it's clients. Our mission was to supply a fully digital voice and data platform that kept the traditional Functionality of a conventional telephone system, whilst allowing high speed data links and cordless technology to be deployed throughout the building. It was important that none of the technology was visible to visitors and nothing was to distract from the opulence and splendour of the main halls.

A complete network of cabling was needed as well as Wireless Access. We were required to work in co-operation with managing agents to ensure the installation conformed to preservation orders.. All of the cordless base stations had to be concealed and installed in discrete positions.
